Photo Sessions in the Age of Covid - aka Capturing Memories from a Socially Acceptable Distance

Ontario has announced that photographers are clear to resume working as part of phase 2 re-opening. In light of this exciting news, I wanted to share some important information on how Captured Kindred will operate for the foreseeable future in order to maintain the health and safety of our valuable customers.

Physical distancing has become a part of everyday life and is certainly no different for photography.  To maintain proper social distancing of 6’ we will be changing a few things:

· Direction on posing and position will be verbal ONLY

· To capture some of those beautiful moments that can only be achieved up close, we have invested in new equipment to help us get up close and personal, from a distance

o If for any reason I do need to get closer I will wear a mask and hand sanitize before and after.

· In order to ensure distancing and minimize risk, we are currently booking outdoor shoots only.  Timing and locations for sessions will be also be considered with quieter parks and venues being given priority.

· Group sizes will need to remain within the limits set by the government.  This includes the help of additional friends or family members who might come along to help with little ones or spectate

Lastly, if you or a member of your family develops symptoms pre-session we must reschedule – NO EXCEPTIONS.  We will rely on the honour system for this and we will obviously do the same, as safety is of the upmost importance. Click here for Ontario’s Covid symptom self-checker.

This information will be updated as things continue to evolve.  I so look forward to working with you again!
