Our approach is light-hearted, understanding and animal savvy. As serial pet owners, lifelong animal-lovers and with previous experience in a veterinary setting (…stories for another day!), we know that pets come in all shapes, sizes and temperaments. Our job is to ensure your pet feels comfortable and safe enough to give us that special look at just the right time. And yes, we have treats and toys to bribe them too.

Frequently asked questions

  • For the most part we photograph dogs but if your pet soulmate is of a different variety we can definitely chat!

  • Don’t worry! Most pets don’t “pose” perfectly, and that is totally okay. We work with patience and play to capture natural, personality-filled moments. (And a super fast shutter speed!)

  • We work best in a somewhat controlled setting of a well-lit studio, with a variety of coloured backdrops.

    However, if you wish to discuss the perfect place in your home or outdoors, we can choose the ideal setting together.

  • Most sessions last about 60 minutes depending upon your pet’s (and your!) energy and comfort level. The aim is to keep it relaxed and stress-free.

  • We have treats, squeakers and some props on site but feel free to bring your pet’s favourite toys, treats (if dietary restrictions), and anything meaningful you would like included in a photo - like a special collar, play toy or blanket.

  • Many pet parents love being part of the portraits, whether it’s for a quick cuddle or full family-style photos.

    Please request this in advance as additional charges apply.

  • You will typically receive a preview gallery within 10-14 business days following the session. Once you have made your selections and chosen packages, final edited images are normally then delivered within 2-3 weeks.

    If you have selected specific prints or albums, these may be custom order and delivery timing may vary.

  • We offer both! You can choose the high-resolution digital files, professional quality prints, wall art, or custom albums. Packages are available - and if something is not listed that you really want, let’s see if we can make it happen!
